Organic Flaxseed Oil – Morlife 275ml
Natures Miracle Plant!
Flaxseed oil is edible linseed oil and contains omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids. It is the richest known source of the omega-3 fatty acid linolenic acid. At 50-60% linolenic acid, flax seed oil contains even more than fish oils. Most people generally take flax seed oil to increase their intake of this fatty acid and the omega-6 fatty acid linoleic acid. These are both essential fatty acids because they cannot be made in the body and therefore must be obtained from the diet. They are also essential to human health.

Flaxseed oil contains: high quality, easily digestible and complete protein and almost all the amino acids, mineral and trace elements essential to human health and contains fat-soluble vitamins A (as beta carotene), D and E and the water-soluble vitamins thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2) and C.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
Flaxseed oil has a shelf life of 2 years provided the bottle is unopened and stored under ideal conditions. It should be refrigerated (stored out of light, oxygen and heat) preferably in an opaque container to maintain its freshness and health-giving qualities. Exposure to light, oxygen and heat will speed the deterioration of the oil including the deterioration of the omega-3 fatty acids. Once opened, the oil should be used within 3-6 weeks.
POSSIBLE USES
Flaxseed oil can be substituted for other oils in salad dressings and mayonnaise. It can also be mixed with olive oil or butter to enhance their nutritional value. It should not be used for frying as this will destroy the healthful properties of the oil.
